Foaled on April 4, 2003, Spirit was the first colt born on our ranch.  He is a minimal sabino gray roan or some may refer to him as a gray overo.  Additionally, Spirit has a flaxen mane and tail. His dam was a maximum sabino (all white) with gray horses in her lineage.  His sire was a palomino. His four stockings are almost perfect.  With all that chrome, this lit up young stallion is flashy and quite striking to see.
History of the Tennessee Walking Horse
Dimple's Son x Bandito's Ivory Doll
TWHBEA Registration #20300395
Spirit stands at 16 hands. His pedigree includes two well known great grandsires, World Grand Champion, The Pusher C.G, and Royal Ivory.   Also included are Bud England, World Grand Champion Sun's Delight D., and Spirit of Midnight.
On Spirit's very first introduction to the wilderness, we were all amazed. Riding along side our other stallion, Color Quest,  he never spooked at anything and acted as if he had been trail riding all his life.  We were all impressed and so proud of him.  Spirit is simply a great all around horse and is the epitomy of what a walking horse stallion should be.
Spirit has a super sweet temperament.  Look how soft and kind his eyes are. The men around the ranch refer to him as the "Ladies Stallion"!   I don't think Spirit is concerned though!  Under saddle, Spirit exhibits a smooth gait barefoot , has good length of stride and is eager to please.  He is intelligent and is a pleasure to school. He has a stocky, solid build, with good bone and good muscling for gait.  His physique resembles Midnight Sun and the Superstock.
