Our crawfish pond is located at the back of our property and is surrounded by pristine woodlands.  Nothing but the sounds of nature.  We do not grow rice or any other wet crop and have no need for chemicals.  Our crawfish eat natural, untreated organics and is typically filled by natural rain water unless we have an abnormally dry winter season. Our pond contains a mixture of both White River Crawfish and Red Swamp Crawfish.  The River crawfish are typically unfavored by the processing plants due to the larger shells and claws.  Since they pay by the pound, this adds to their costs while they get fewer crawfish tails.  But from a consumers point of view, White River Crawfish are the premium type of crawfish due to their larger size and huge, full claws.  They are a bit more aggressive from the fishing side of it, but in the end, they are well worth the battle.  So each of our sacks, is a combination of both species because they do not interbreed.

Our crawfish crops are designed to cater directly to the consumer and most specifically, those who prefer organic foods.

Our crawfish are available from February through the end of March.  Our pond is typically fished 3-4 times per week.  If you wish to get on our waiting list, please email us or call with your requested date.  Sold in 30-35 lb. bags at Market pricing, normally varying between $1.00 to $1.50 per lb.  We can also ship over night.
